Nativity of Our Savior Catholic School

Blast off with Nativity sixth grade!  Our sixth grade class is out of this world! Sixth grade is the first level of our middle school.  It is a self-contained class in which students prepare for more responsibilities and higher academics.  The students study the Indiana Acedmics Standards, but also begin a much more rigorous academic program.

Our sixth graders study the core subjects and fine arts.  They also assume a few more responsibilities than the elementary students.  For example, they prepare an intensive space unit in which they conduct flight simulation at the Challenger Center and they perform such services as cleaning the Grotto for the church. They also receive second grade buddies, with which they share various projects. The first semester of sixth grade sets the stage for success as a teenager and in the middle school.  For more information about sixth grade, please contact the office or our teacher at 6th@nativitystars.info. 

Our 5th and 6th graders played each other in basketball to raise money for the American Heart Association.  Hoops for Heart is held each Catholic Schools Week.
