This will be the last casual wear day until after Easter. As a school we give up casual wear for Lent.

PSAS TUITION ASSISTANCE FORMS

Parishioners who wish to turn in the Diocese of Gary tuition assistance forms must do so no later than Tuesday, February 21.  The parish office will be closed on Presidents’ Day, but will reopen on Tuesday morning at 9:00.

Class of 2013 Spaghetti Dinner

The Class of 2013 will be hosting an ALL YOU CAN EAT spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 10, from 5-8:30 in the hall.  Please join us for a spaghetti luau, featuring great food, raffles, entertainment, and fellowship!  You can purchase tickets from any 8^th grade parent or from the school/parish offices.

Children 3-12 $3

Under 3 free

Winter Carnival

The next big Home & School event will be the fabulous winter carnival!  It will be held on Saturday, March 10 in conjunction with the Class of 2013 Spaghetti Dinner.  Each classroom has a chairperson who will need help with decorations and games.  Please contact your chairperson to volunteer!

Attention Parents:

Spring pictures will be taken Tuesday, February 28th!  Everyone will be photographed and a proof will be sent home for you to preview before you purchase.  Dress for picture day will be appropriate casual wear.  Pictures will be back in time for Easter, so if you wish your child to be dressed up, this is the perfect opportunity! Also, sibling pictures will be taken.  Please let your child's teacher know if you want sibling pictures taken and also if you want individual pictures.  Any questions, please call the office at 763-2400.  Thank you!

JOIN US @ ROSEWOOD!

Rosewood, located in the Portage Mall on Central Ave., will be hosting a Nativity Night on Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 4-8 p.m.  10% of your purchase will be donated back to Nativity, and don’t forget to use your Rosewood SCRIP!

Track News…

5^th-8^th grade boys will begin practicing on Wednesdays at Nativity gym after school until 3:30. The first practice will be Feb. 22.  Girls will join practices when basketball season ends.

2011 Taxes

Our state school number for the private school tax deduction is D065.  Remember, you can deduct up to $1000 per child off of your taxes for tuition, books, technology fees, etc.
